my mom is cute, she asked me to draw her when I was home last weekend; this is the result.
she used to do a lot of artwork (and still does from time to time) and actually has a lot of skill so I wasn’t expecting a lot of reaction but she was really excited and took a picture and showed my dad. i like it when i can make people happy with a simple drawing like this and portraits are really fun to do. :)

ok so i know this is an ugly doodle but i just wanted to shoot off my theory about ninfia (which is the new eeveelution, check it out at pokebeach before reading if you have no clue what I’m talking about), and get a quick sketch showing how I think it’s counterpart could look.
people have been throwing around that ninfia will be a new type and this and that. i firmly believe that ninfia is going to be a normal type and is going to be a more “direct” evolution of eevee; also I think that, as many have speculated due to ninfia’s “X” shaped chromosome ribbons, the “nymph” prefix, and the girly design that it is going to be female-only and will have a male counterpart. Being that a satyr is often seen as the male counterpart to a nymph, i figure the male eevee will be one. There is also no ram pokemon which would leave a lot of design opportunities for a 6th gen mascot despite the somewhat small pool of unused real-life animals. haven’t figured out the neck ribbons and how to masculinize them and whether or not they should be y-shaped or x-shaped (traditional shape vs. “y”, as in “xy” for boy); but if you google chromosome and look at one of the first pictures (or just click here) you can see where ninfia gets it’s slightly off-kilter color scheme. i think 7 or 12 could work for a “manly” pokemon, i may do a redesign with that scheme and a scarf or ribbons.
anyways just want to start posting for posterity, I think it’s possible to construct this pokemon’s look using previous eeveelution’s designs, ninfia’s design, and the speculative information we have to work with, and I think it would be cool to make an accurate design before anyone sees the official pokemon one.
